Dr. Leo Lander is registered in both Australia and New Zealand as a Specialist Periodontist. He graduated as a dentist in 2005 and completed his training as a specialist in 2016 at the University of Otago New Zealand. In between, he has also completed an M.B.A degree. Dr Leo is also heavily involved in medical research of stem cells. The results of his work are published in the prestigious journal Nature Biotechnology.
Dr Lander has undergone extensive training both locally and internationally, and possess a wealth of experience in diagnosing and treating gum diseases, ensuring the health of your gums and supporting structures. We use the latest techniques and state-of-the-art equipment to provide advanced periodontal therapies that promote long-term dental wellness.
Our main focus is to provide patients with a healthy smile. which can’t be achieved without a healthy periodontium (gums). We believe that natural teeth are preferable to an artificial replacement. However sometimes missing teeth need to be replaced with implant retained prostheses.
It is our job as a specialist practice to work with you and your dentist, to assist with developing the potential implantation sites and placing the implants where they are required from the restorative perspective.
